E-Tran Hires New Chief Technology Officer from InterCept

Westport, CT – October 3, 2004 – E-Tran announced today the hiring of Kernie Brashier, as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Brashier brings twenty years of hands-on experience operating large-scale financial transaction processing systems. He most recently was the Vice President of Technology for InterCept where over 170 million transactions valued at $4 billion were processed over the last year for over 500 financial institutions. His background includes entrepreneurial experience building and selling a high transaction processing service organization whose customers included The Federal Mint, American Airlines, AT&T and others.
